The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra has vowed to unseat Governor Chukwuma Soludo in the upcoming November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election.

Basil Ejidike, the APC State Chairman, emphasized that Soludo’s failure to protect the lives and property of the people, particularly amid rising insecurity, had disqualified him for a second term.

At a recent event in Oba, Ejidike urged Anambra residents to vote out the incumbent APGA government, citing the governor’s poor record in his first term. “We cannot continue to complain. Let us vote APC to stop the insecurity and financial burden,” he declared.

This call comes after the defection of Ejike Madunagu, a prominent APGA chieftain, to the APC. Madunagu blamed the lack of support from APGA for his decision and expressed confidence that the APC, with its national influence, could bring real change to the state.
