The is coming days after the Governor approved ₦232m to revamp the health sector.

Dr. Yusuf Abbas Eletu, who conducted the governor and his entourage around the hospital, reiterated their readiness to work, but the unavailability of basic needs have made them professionally handicapped over the years.

He listed lack of drugs, lack of quality water supply, unavailability of electricity as they are currently running on power generating sets which were evident as at the time of the visit by the governor as the partial lighting within the hospital premises did not project the standard of the state-owned specialist hospital well.

Governor Abdulrazaq, while speaking, showed concern about the poor salaries of the doctors and nurses and appreciated them for choosing not to leave the state, despite the unfavorable conditions but promised to look into all necessary factors that will make Telemedicine and Health Insurance work in the state.
