Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, on Sunday, September 1, 2019, reinstated his suspended Special Assistant on Projects Documentation, Mr. Francis Nweze.
Umahi has equally reassigned him as Special Assistant on Social Media and moved his hitherto Special Assistant on Social Media, Mr. Emmanuel Igwe, as SA on Projects Documentation.
Nweze was suspended last month, one week after his counterpart, SA on Projects Monitoring, Felix Otta, was suspended.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, said Nweze’s recall and reassignment took immediate effect.
The statement read, “His Excellency, Dr. David Nweze Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi State, has directed immediate recall of Mr. Francis Nwaze from suspension.
“Consequently, Mr. Nwaze who was, until his suspension, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Documentation has been reassigned as the SA to the Governor on Social Media while Mr. Emmanuel Igwe is directed to move as the new SA to the Governor on Project Documentation.
“This minor reshuffle is with immediate effect.”
