Kwara State Deputy Governor Inaugurates 13-Man Advisory Committee

Kwara State deputy governor, Kayode Alabi has inaugurated a 13-man Kwara South Senatorial District Think-Tank/Advisory Committee.

The committee is headed by Senator Makanjuola Ajadi, who is to be assisted by Ben Oyeyemi while Dr. Fatai Bello will serve as the secretary.

Other members of the committee are Chief Rex Olawoye, Samuel Olafasobu, Chief Abel Agboola Adewumi, Alhaja Farida Dankaka, Chief Iyiola Oyedepo, Elder Sunday Oladiji, Elder J. B. Ayeni, Hassan Kehinde Garba, Chief Richard Olaniyi Olusola and Alhaji Sulyman Olowookere.

The membership of the committee was drawn from Offa, Oyun, Irepodun, Ifelodun, Isin, Ekiti and Oke-Ero Local Government Areas of the state.

The deputy governor explained that the terms of reference for the committee were to ensure cohesion and stability of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Kwara South Senatorial District.

He said the committee is to provide a blueprint/proposal to the deputy governor in order to fast track the socio-economic development of the senatorial district, adding that it is expected to give all-round advice to the deputy governor on all matters of importance and matters that would have a positive impact on the lives of the people of the senatorial district.

Alabi advised the committee to work assiduously among the people of the senatorial district in order to know their problems and ensure that the youth and the less privileged are focused for possible government patronage.

He noted that the present administration would leave no stone unturned in its desire and determination to develop the state.

Chairman of the committee, Senator Suleiman Ajadi thanked the deputy governor for the honor to serve. He pledged not to disappoint in the task of developing the senatorial district and the state in general.

Sen. Ajadi explained that members of the committee were picked based on merit and charged them to work for the success of the present administration.
