The Kwara State Government has commenced the preparatory work needed to kick start the construction of the 34.5Km Kishi-Kaiama road.
This according to the state government is in fulfilment of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s campaign promise to ensure that his administration provide access roads that will boost economic growth and development.
The State government stated that Kaiama, the headquarters of Kaiama LGA is an agrarian community whose people are determined and hard-working farmers but have been hindered from transporting their farm produce to their target markets and to ease the plight of the farmers and other road users, the Kwara State Government has commenced work on the Kishi-Kaiama road that was abandoned for years.
