Primate Elijah Ayodele, spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has boldly declared that Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, will win the 2026 governorship election, stating that “God has ordained you for a second term.”
During an empowerment program in Lagos, which also saw the presence of dignitaries like Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo (represented by his Chief of Staff) and Senator Abiodun Olujimi of Ekiti State, Ayodele affirmed that Adeleke’s victory is divinely assured, despite any potential challenges.
According to Ayodele, his previous prophecies about Adeleke’s political career came to pass, notably in 2018 when he had told the governor he would win but be robbed of the victory. “I told you that you would win, but they will rob you of victory… and that came to pass,” Ayodele recalled.
The prophet also shared his experience with former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, explaining that his friendship with Oyetola ended when he prophesied that Oyetola would lose the 2022 election, a warning that went unheeded. Ayodele predicted that if Oyetola contests again in 2026, “it’s going to be a red card for him.”
Ayodele went on to assert that no matter who the All Progressives Congress (APC) fields in the race, Adeleke’s victory is certain. “Anybody the APC fields for the race, Adeleke will beat him. It is divine,” he proclaimed.
In his message to Adeleke, Ayodele encouraged him to remain in the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), as it has been “anointed by God” to stay in power. He added, “Even if Tinubu came to Osun to campaign for APC and Oyetola, you will win.”
Governor Adeleke, later in the event, laid the foundation for a low-cost housing project organized by the church and presented empowerment items to beneficiaries, reiterating his commitment to improving the lives of the people of Osun State.
