Adeleke Hits Back at Opposition, Says They’re Embarrassed by His Success

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has criticized the opposition for being “embarrassed” by his administration’s achievements, stating that their discontent stems from his success in office.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Adeleke reiterated his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Osun State. He emphasized the tangible progress his government has made, which he believes is making the opposition uncomfortable.

“They are embarrassed by my achievements. It is clear they cannot stand the progress we are making in Osun State,” said Adeleke, pointing to the various initiatives his administration has put in place to benefit the people.

Adeleke further assured residents that his administration would continue to prioritize development and welfare, assuring that more projects and reforms are in the pipeline to improve the living standards of the people in the state.
