In a series of accolades, Oborevwori has been recognized for his fiscal discipline and focus on sustainable infrastructure development.

The Governor’s prudent management has led to the completion of numerous projects, including roads, schools, and flyovers, all without accruing new debt.

“Delta is not borrowing under my administration. We have also paid off over N240 billion in previous loans,” said Charles Aniagwu, the State Commissioner for Works.

Oborevwori’s approach to cutting waste and ensuring value for money has included innovative contract management, which saved the state N4.5 billion. He has also prioritized educational reforms, providing bursaries to over 62,000 students and improving school infrastructure.

“We’ve been able to achieve so much because of fiscal discipline,” Aniagwu added. “Even when the public was skeptical, the Governor’s leadership proved critics wrong with tangible results.”

With the state now solvent, Oborevwori continues to prioritize legacy projects, including a N78 billion contract for flyovers in the Warri metropolis and the Asaba Waterfront City development. As the state works toward these ambitious goals, Oborevwori’s administration launched a whistle-blower policy to ensure transparency and combat substandard projects.

Oborevwori’s fiscal discipline and rapid development have solidified his standing as a leader who delivers without burdening future generations. “We are solvent because of accountability, not because of magic,” Aniagwu emphasized.
