Aiyedatiwa Appoints Fasoranti’s Son as SSG, Reappoints Advisers

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, the son of Afenifere leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

This appointment came shortly after Aiyedatiwa was inaugurated as the state’s seventh executive governor on Monday.

According to a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan, Dr. Fasoranti, who was previously the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, hails from Akure South local government area.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also reappointed key officials, including Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, as the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.

Special advisers appointed include Engr. Johnson Alabi (Power), Dr. Seun Osamaye (Women Affairs), Comrade Bola Taiwo (Union Matters), and Prof. Simidele Odimayo (Health), all of whom served in the previous administration.

“The appointees must hit the ground running to deliver effective services to Ondo State,” Aiyedatiwa urged, noting that the appointments took immediate effect.
