The North-east zone of the APC has constituted a 39-member central steering committee to reposition its state chapter in Adamawa.
The Abdulrahman Adamu-led committee, which has the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Muhammad Musa Bello as co-chairmen, is to work with the APC National Working Committee (NWC).
In a document made available to journalists, yesterday in Abuja, the committee was not only tasked to reconcile all aggrieved aspirants/candidates that vied for positions during the 2019 general elections, but also to develop a programme of action to reposition and strengthen APC in the state.
The membership of the committee includes the immediate past governor, Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla (Bindow), the former EFCC chairman, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Dahiru Bobbo, Sen. Jonathan Silas Zwingina, and Sen. Ahmed Hassan Barata, among many others.
