Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu, has moved his office out of the State Government House.
This is despite withdrawing the suit he filed against Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Channels Television reported on Monday that Shaibu has relocated his office out of the Edo State Government House.
Shaibu had withdrawn the anti-impeachment suit he filed against Obaseki at an Abuja High Court.
In a suit with reference number: FHC/ABJ/CS/1027/2023, the deputy governor had asked the court to stop the governor from making attempts to impeach him.
But in a statement he personally signed, Shaibu, who has been at loggerheads with Obaseki, described the governor as his boss and senior brother.
The withdrawal of the suit suggested that the governor and his deputy have mended fences but Shaibu has now moved out of the Government House.
Giving his reasons for withdrawing the case, the Deputy governor said some well-meaning Edo indigenes and other Nigerians had held meetings with him and his principal.
