Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi joined the world on Thursday in celebrating World Humanitarian Day.
A Facebook post by the State read, “let us recognise the sacrificial commitment, dedication, and efforts of humanitarian personnel, government agencies, and the international community to providing intervention, aid, recovery, and rehabilitation to vulnerable communities.”
“As a government, we remain committed to improving our human development indices and necessary infrastructure that promotes a healthy, motivated, and socially secured environment where no one is left behind in Ekiti State.”
The post also asked people to tag any humanitarian organization or individual and celebrate them.
