Governor Uba Sani Appoints Deputy to Resolve Kaduna Power Crisis

Kaduna is facing a significant power outage following an industrial action by the labor unions of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO), leaving residents frustrated and in the dark.

In an effort to resolve the crisis, Governor Uba Sani has appointed his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, to lead urgent discussions with the management of KAEDCO and the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE).

The critical meeting is currently taking place in the Deputy Governor’s Council Chambers, with the aim of reaching a solution that will end the power outage affecting thousands of residents in the region.

His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, expressed his concerns, stating, “We are fully committed to resolving this issue promptly for the well-being of the people of Kaduna. We are working hard to bring about a lasting solution to the ongoing power disruption.”

Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, who is spearheading the talks, emphasized the urgency of the situation: “It is vital that we find a quick resolution to this problem. The people of Kaduna deserve consistent and reliable electricity, and we are doing everything in our power to make that a reality.”
