Osun State’s Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Tola Faseru, has announced the upcoming Agricultural Investment Conference, set to take place in April, aimed at tapping into the state’s vast agricultural potential. The conference will feature partnerships with ambassadors from 25 countries, all seeking to attract foreign investment into the state’s agricultural sector.

“Osun is an agricultural hub of South Western Nigeria, with a high ease of doing business rating, a positive investment climate, and policies promoting agro-industrialization,” said Hon. Faseru, emphasizing the state’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for investors. “We’ve tackled our infrastructure deficits and have functioning free trade zones. Osun is open for business.”

Governor Ademola Adeleke also extended an invitation to international diplomats, reassuring them of his administration’s dedication to fostering partnerships. “We acknowledge that we cannot achieve our goals alone, which is why we’re inviting participants from around the world to join us at the Agriculture Investment Conference – Osun 2025,” he stated.

During the event, key ambassadors, including Tunisian Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Mohsen Anlit, and Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Miriam Morales, expressed their support. They agreed to visit Osun and invite their private sector investors and governments to participate in the conference.

As the state prepares for this significant event, Osun is positioning itself as a prime destination for agricultural investment, ready to collaborate with global partners to unlock its full agricultural potential.
