Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and his Ebonyi counterpart (Dave Umahi) attended the 2021 Harvest, Thanksgiving, and Bazaar of Adoration Ministry, Enugu on Sunday, October 24. The presence of the duo at the occasion was a reason for joy among worshippers at the venue and Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka himself. In one of the photos shared on Facebook by Ugwuanyi, the fiery Christian cleric was seen welcoming and receiving the governors at their arrival for the service.

Also, during the service, both governors were also seen kneeling while Mbaka offered a powerful prayer.

The Enugu governor wrote: “Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state, his Ebonyi state counterpart, Engr. David Umahi, others attend the 2021 Harvest, Thanksgiving and Bazaar of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (#AMEN), held at the Adoration Ministry Arena, Umuchigbo Iji-Nike, Enugu, today, Sunday, October 24. “Received by the Spiritual Director of AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike C. Mbaka.”

Meanwhile, a warning had been issued to Nigeria by Mbaka. The outspoken cleric said the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy was just the beginning of what will befall the nation. He consequently urged the Muhammadu Buhari administration to change and called on God to intervene in the affairs of the country, if the trouble is to be averted.

Going further, Mbaka in a homily during Sunday mass also called on the federal government to release the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, from detention. Mbaka stated: “As I told you people last two months that what you are seeing is just the beginning of the trouble and that the main trouble is coming. This one that they did (NDA attack) is just the elementary part of it. The secondary part of it is still coming. “I am only asking God to intervene because what is happening in Afghanistan right now; if God is not ready to help us, Nigeria’s situation will be worse in the future. You are free to attack Father Mbaka and criticize me, that one is your problem.”
