Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu and members of his cabinet, Sunday, hosted the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu at the Lagos House, Marina on after a successful medical trip to the United Kingdom.
The event was tagged: “Welcome Back Home Asiwaju.”
Recall that Tinubu, on Friday night, returned to the country, after a successful surgery operation on his right knee as well as rigorous post-surgery physiotherapy.
Dignitaries at the event include Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Folasade Jaji, Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde and other members of the state Executive Council, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, members of the House of Representatives, led by the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, party chieftains, clergymen, market leaders, among others.
Govenor Sanwo-Olu in a late Facebook post on Sunday said It was great moment of joy to receive the National Leader at the State House alongside other party chieftains after his return.
The post further read that “we have countless reasons to be grateful to God for bringing Asiwaju back home, fully healed and rejuvenated. Since Friday, when our leader and father came back, it has been joyful moments for teeming of residents of Lagos, his supporters and Nigerians across the country.
We thank God for bringing Asiwaju back with sound health, stronger vigour, and a renewed zeal and hope for the future.”
