Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has strengthened security at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat Complex with 40 CCTV cameras, solar-powered lighting, and reinforced perimeter security.

The state’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, announced the upgrades on Wednesday, stating they reflect Soludo’s commitment to protecting government facilities.

“These interventions ensure live monitoring, improved visibility at night, and better access control to prevent unauthorized entry,” Mefor said.

The measures also include two hybrid solar-powered control rooms, barbed wire fencing, iron protectors on doors and windows, and upgraded access roads.

“This is part of the governor’s proactive approach to creating a safe working environment for government employees,” Mefor added.

The move aligns with Soludo’s broader strategy to enhance security infrastructure across Anambra State.
