The Nigerian political sphere is taking a new, positive dimension as notable groups are springing up to promote the candidacy of their favourite, would-be president of the country after the current administration of President Muhammad Buhari. One of such formidable groups strategising for a leading political figure in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is Friends of BAT.
Only recently, Friends of BAT was inaugurated, having the sole aim of pushing for the actualisation of the Jagaban Borgu’s mandate as the race towards the presidential election in 2023 is getting set.
According to the convener of Friends of BAT, Mr Henry Balogun, the Tinubu Media Center (TMC) will provide a one-stop public communications and information hub for journalists, writers, bloggers, social media commentators and supporters of the Asiwaju of Lagos across Nigeria and beyond. It will also be a go-to resource center for latest updates on politics and democracy in general as Nigerians look forward to the 2023 general election.
TMC is also going to provide a solid platform from which the general public can access information on the numerous achievements of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in and out of public office.
As an independent initiative sponsored and powered by Friends of Bat, the Tinubu Media Center will also serve as a portal that pools together breaking news on politics across Nigeria and shall leverage on the network of resource persons who are versatile on political issues.
Mr. Henry Balogun emphasised the core aim of Tinubu Media Center to be a premeditated design to enhance an undiluted cohesion through understanding and progressive engagement between the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu personality and the Nigerian electorate.
This is an important step towards entrenching the progressive ideology of Asiwaju in the minds of the people and to further highlight the projects, reforms, social transformation and the visionary initiatives of the National Leader of All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 1999.
