Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has vowed to finish the ongoing road rehabilitation in Mowe and Magboro communities after residents voiced concerns over the slow pace of construction.

The 3.5-kilometre road in Adesan-Olu Community had been in poor condition for years before the governor approved the repair works.

In a letter to the governor, the community leaders appreciated the initiative but urged faster action, saying, “We have started experiencing muddy roads for the little time the rain has started.”

Governor Abiodun’s Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, reassured residents, explaining that, “The 2024 budget is not yet exhausted… There are many factors that can delay contractors. They should be patient, as the road will be finished.”
