Prominent oil magnate and philanthropist, Prince Arthur Eze, has thrown his weight behind the re-election bid of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, ahead of the November 8, 2025, governorship election.
Eze made this endorsement during a visit by Governor Soludo to his Abuja residence, according to a press statement released on Wednesday by the governor’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
Declaring his unwavering support, Eze described Soludo as “divinely anointed” to lead Anambra State, praising his achievements in the last three years.
“No individual or group can defeat Governor Soludo in the upcoming election; he is ordained by God to continue leading Anambra to greatness,” Eze stated. “I appeal to Ndi Anambra to rally behind Soludo for the ongoing development of the state.”
He added, “Soludo has character; his name ‘Chukwuma’ means ‘God knows His plan,’ which perfectly aligns with his purpose and actions.”
Eze went further to rebuke Soludo’s critics, labeling them as lacking in vision and credibility. “I have unwavering confidence in the governor’s capability,” he said.
Responding to the endorsement, Governor Soludo reaffirmed his commitment to the state’s development.
“Anambra has all it takes to be a great state. There is nothing we envision for Anambra that we cannot achieve,” Soludo asserted, emphasizing the state’s wealth of human and natural resources.
