Governor Radda Confident in APC’s Strength, Lauds Successful Fundraising for LG Elections

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, expressed strong confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) following successful fundraising efforts for the upcoming local government elections.

During a thank-you visit from a high-powered delegation representing the Funtua Zone, Governor Radda highlighted the overwhelming participation of party members and supporters as a clear indicator of the APC’s enduring popularity.

“The participation of our card-carrying members and supporters shows the continued strength of the APC in Katsina State,” Radda said, reinforcing his belief in the party’s stability.

He also pledged to work closely with stakeholders to ensure prudent resource management as his administration approaches its second year. The Governor called for continued prayers and support from the people of Katsina.

Deputy Governor Faruq Lawal Jobe echoed the Governor’s commitment to the state’s development, emphasizing the administration’s focus on human capital, infrastructure, and empowerment programs. “We’ve invested over 120 billion naira in education alone,” Jobe stated. “Our focus remains on developing human resources, strengthening infrastructure, and creating self-reliance programs for the people.”

Meanwhile, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Yahaya Daura, praised Governor Radda’s inclusive leadership style, emphasizing the importance of strategic appointments in fostering unity.

“The Governor’s approach in appointing committed individuals from across the state has ensured that unity prevails in Katsina,” he noted.

The delegation, led by APC State Deputy Chairman Alhaji Bala Abu Musawa, represented 11 local government areas in the Funtua Zone.

Musawa took the opportunity to commend the Governor for recent key appointments, such as AbdulKadir Mamman Nasir as Chief of Staff and Malik Anas as Commissioner.

He encouraged Funtua Zone residents to show their appreciation by registering in large numbers.

Chief of Staff AbdulKadir Mamman Nasir described Governor Radda as a dedicated leader who remains resolute in delivering benefits to ordinary citizens. “The Governor’s leadership is focused on timely service delivery to our people,” Nasir stated.

The delegation also included key political figures such as the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Abdullahi Garba Faskari; Member of the State Assembly Shamsuden Abubakar Dabai; Commissioner for Health Alhaji Musa Adamu Funtua; and other notable leaders from across the state.
