Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has flagged-off the Economic Revitalization Support 2Program of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Imo State.
As part of a post-COVID-19 pandemic relief program, the United Nations will be using its donation to boost Imo communities’. This will support their economic recovery from the hardship this pandemic created.
Speaking at the event, His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed appreciation on behalf of Imolites while seeking more intervention to help tackle the unemployment rate in the State. In his submission, the Governor enumerated the potentials within the State and appealed for further assistance from the world body and her partners, in boosting economic growth and stability of the State.
His Excellency affirmed his strict supervision to ensure total compliance, in the course of implementation, to the program as designed.
