Oyo State House of Assembly has reduced the 2019 budget of ₦282bn passed into law by the immediate past administration of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi to ₦181bn.
The review of the budget which started on Thursday, August 29, 2019, was at the instance of Governor Seyi Makinde, who described the budget earlier passed as “unrealistic.”
The assembly on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, therefore passed into law N182 billion as the state appropriation bill for the year.
